Vote for a Seat at the Table

My name is Luke Richter and I am running for the Vermont House for Grand Isle/West Chittenden on the Democratic ticket because I want to advocate for all of us. I am a happily married father of two living in beautiful Alburgh. For the past 17 years or so I have been a practicing attorney in St. Albans.

Up until this year I have always considered myself an Independent with Populist tendencies - I did not stand with a Political Party because no Political Party was willing to stand with me. This is still mostly true but things have changed. First my expectations have become more realistic; and second the American political atmosphere has become more frightening - the hard right swerve in our political discourse threatens the delicate fabric of our Democracy - it really really does. I wish I could be apolitical and just live calmly with my family and our many many pets but unfortunately one doesn’t have to be involved with politics for politics to be involved with you; and if this is the case “Agitate, Agitate, Agitate.”

Let me give our district and our voices a seat at the table.
